Job Summary: The Procurement Executive will be responsible for managing and executing procurement processes to ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services required by the company. The role will involve sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, ensuring product quality, and managing vendor relationships to meet the company’s operational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Supplier Management:
Identify and develop relationships with potential suppliers and vendors.
Negotiate contracts, prices, and delivery terms with suppliers to ensure the best value for the company.
Maintain strong working relationships with key suppliers to ensure timely and quality delivery of materials.
Purchasing & Procurement:
Prepare and issue purchase orders based on requirements from different departments.
Monitor and track orders, ensuring timely delivery and resolution of any delays or issues.
Manage inventory levels, ensuring that stock is maintained at optimal levels to meet operational requirements.
Cost Control & Budgeting:
Monitor procurement costs and work with the finance team to ensure that purchases align with the company’s budget.
Identify cost-saving opportunities through supplier negotiations or alternative sourcing strategies.
Quality Assurance:
Ensure that the products and services procured meet the required quality standards and specifications.
Conduct regular checks and inspections of suppliers and products to ensure compliance with company quality standards.
Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, contracts, and supplier agreements.
Provide regular reports to the Procurement Manager regarding procurement activities, vendor performance, and market trends.
Handle any procurement-related administrative tasks, including data entry, invoicing, and order follow-ups.
Compliance & Risk Management:
Ensure that procurement practices adhere to legal, ethical, and regulatory standards.
Mitigate any risks associated with procurement, including managing supply chain disruptions or delays.
Collaboration with Internal Teams:
Work closely with internal departments such as operations, finance, and logistics to ensure seamless procurement and delivery processes.
Act as a liaison between suppliers and internal stakeholders, ensuring clear communication regarding product requirements, timelines, and budgets.
Coordination:
Have to establish good coordnation between internal and external Teams
Qualifications & Skills:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
Experience: 2-5 years of experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably in Realestate and Hospitality construction Industry.
Skills:
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
In-depth knowledge of procurement processes and best practices.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Familiarity with procurement software and MS Office Suite.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Knowledge of inventory management and stock control.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CIPS) is a plus.
Experience with vendor management systems or ERP systems is desirable.
