We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to manage all aspects of the contractual and financial side of construction projects. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge in cost estimation, contract administration, and project management to ensure projects are completed within the budget.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and analyze cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documents.
Monitor project costs, value completed work, and arrange payments to contractors.
Negotiate contracts and manage contract administration.
Conduct cost analyses and forecasting to maintain project budgets.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and project managers.
Ensure compliance with building regulations and contractual agreements.
Provide advice on procurement strategies and risk management.
Qualifications and Skills:
Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Proficiency in construction cost estimating software (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Excel, CostX, etc.).
Strong understanding of contracts, building regulations, and construction law.
Excellent numerical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
Effective communication and team collaboration abilities.
Preferred Experience:
years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in (residential/commercial/industrial) construction projects.
Experience with large-scale construction projects is a plus.
