Hello,
Apricot Jam , a premier technology and outsourcing company based in Minneapolis , is seeking a ServiceNow Business Analyst to join our team. As a recognized ServiceNow partner , we specialize in delivering innovative solutions across various modules. In this role, you will play a critical part in gathering requirements, designing solutions, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure seamless implementation and support of ServiceNow projects.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs, document requirements, and define process workflows.
- Analyze and translate business requirements into functional specifications for ServiceNow configurations.
- Facilitate workshops to gather insights and ensure alignment with project objectives.
- Support configuration and implementation activities, ensuring deliverables align with best practices and client needs.
- Conduct gap analysis between business requirements and existing ServiceNow capabilities.
- Develop user stories and acceptance criteria, maintaining a well-groomed backlog.
- Participate in testing phases, including preparing test cases and conducting UAT sessions.
- Provide ongoing support and training to end-users and administrators to ensure smooth adoption.
- Assist in the design and implementation of ServiceNow modules, including CMDB, ITSM, HRSD, or other areas based on client needs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in IT environments.
- 3+ years of experience working specifically with the ServiceNow platform. Strong understanding of ServiceNow capabilities, including ITSM, CMDB, and workflows.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency in gathering and documenting requirements, process mapping, and creating technical specifications.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments and familiarity with project management tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) or other relevant certifications.
- Knowledge of ITIL practices, particularly Incident, Problem, Change, and Configuration Management.
- Experience collaborating with technical teams to deliver ServiceNow implementations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
