About the role

We are seeking an organized and energetic Assistant Restaurant Manager to join the Izakaya team. This role supports the Restaurant Manager in ensuring smooth daily operations, maintaining high standards of service, and creating a memorable dining experience for our guests. The Assistant Restaurant Manager will work closely with both the front-of-house and kitchen teams, playing a key role in achieving customer satisfaction and operational excellence.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Restaurant Manager in daily operations, ensuring that service standards are met and customer expectations are exceeded.
  • Supervise and support the front-of-house team, providing guidance, training, and mentorship as needed.
  • Address and resolve guest inquiries, feedback, or complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Monitor inventory levels for front-of-house supplies, placing orders as needed and keeping costs within budget.
  • Assist in developing and implementing initiatives to increase customer loyalty and brand reputation.
  • Oversee cleanliness and maintenance of the dining area, ensuring it meets health, safety, and aesthetic standards.


Qualifications

  • Experience in a supervisory or assistant management role in a restaurant, ideally with Japanese or Asian cuisine exposure.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a guest-focused mindset.
