- Key Responsibilities:
- 1. Strategic Academic Leadership
- Foster continuous improvement in curriculum design, pedagogy, and assessment based on learning outcomes and industry needs.
- Cultivate a vibrant research culture by supporting faculty and students in scholarly activities.
- 2. Research and Innovation Development
- Strengthen institutional frameworks and administrative systems to facilitate cutting-edge research and seamless academic operations.
- E nsure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and accreditation requirements.
- 3. Institutional Governance and Compliance
- Oversee the functioning of statutory bodies such as the Academic Council and Board of Management.
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and industries to support student internships and placements.
- 4. External Engagement and Representation
- Represent the institution at national and international platforms to build visibility and reputation.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and intellectually stimulating campus environment.
Requirements:
- A distinguished academician with teaching experience in a reputable institution.
- A medical Doctor or Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from a premier institution with experience in academic education, research, curriculum development, administration, and management.
- Minimum 10+ years of experience as a professor or equivalent positions held in a university system or reputed research organizations.
- Proven expertise in steering an institution toward top rankings.
- An inspirational leader with intellectual breadth, strong interpersonal skills, demonstrated expertise in research-driven programs and policies, experience developing and leveraging partnerships, and success leading diverse, complex teams and organizations.
