IT Asset Management Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented IT asset management specialist to oversee the lifecycle of IT assets. The ideal candidate will ensure effective management, optimize their use and ensure compliance with organizational policies.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and Maintain Inventory: Oversee the entire process of acquiring, maintaining and disposing of IT assets across the organization.
  • Track Assets Throughout Lifecycle: Ensure accurate tracking of hardware and software assets throughout their lifespan.
  • Develop Policies and Procedures: Create and implement IT asset management policies and procedures that align with the company's overall goals.
  • Conduct Regular Audits: Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance and accuracy of asset records.
  • Collaborate with Procurement Team: Collaborate with procurement teams for asset acquisition and disposal processes.
  • Provide Insights on Asset Utilization: Provide reports and insights on asset utilization and optimization opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.
  • Experience: 2-5 years of experience in IT asset management or related roles.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Strong knowledge of asset management tools and software, familiarity with ITIL framework and best practices, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, proficient in Microsoft Excel and data analysis, strong communication and interpersonal skills.
