Job Title

As a Senior Technical Lead, you will be responsible for guiding the development of cutting-edge insurance solutions using Guidewire Policy Center v10.

This role requires a leader who can design and implement scalable solutions, translate business requirements into technical solutions, conduct product modeling reviews, and oversee technical design.

Additionally, you will stay updated with Guidewire Policy Center v10 features, uphold best practices in architecture and design, and customize and improve products, user interfaces, workflows, and business rules.

You will also utilize accelerators to expedite development, oversee application configurations, releases, and software upgrades, maintain development environments, and manage coding branches.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement scalable solutions using Guidewire Policy Center v10
  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Conduct product modeling reviews and oversee technical design
  • Stay updated with Guidewire Policy Center v10 features
  • Uphold best practices in architecture and design
  • Customize and improve products, user interfaces, workflows, and business rules
  • Utilize accelerators to expedite development
  • Oversee application configurations, releases, and software upgrades
  • Maintain development environments and manage coding branches
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in Guidewire Policy Center development
  • Leadership and post-implementation ownership of Guidewire Policy Center products
  • 8+ years leading and managing development teams
  • 10+ years of Java development experience
  • Expertise in Guidewire APIs, Product Designer, GX Model, and integrations
  • Experience with Guidewire Rating engine and configurations
  • Knowledge of Guidewire Renewal API and data migration strategies
  • Familiarity with ALM best practices
  • Experience with Guidewire application partitioning and optimization
  • Proficiency in secure software development practices
  • Experienced with Agile SCRUM methodology and tools
  • Skilled in managing DevOps processes
Preferred Qualifications
  • Commercial P&C insurance knowledge is a plus
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and adept at guiding teams to solutions
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
Education Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related field is strongly preferred
