About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled contracts lawyer to join our Legal Team at Razorpay. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for handling a wide range of contracts, collaborating with internal departments and external stakeholders to draft and negotiate agreements, and providing legal advice to protect the company's interests.

Responsibilities
  • With 5 to 7 years of post-qualification experience in law firms, fintech, banks, or MNCs, you should have expertise in general corporate, product advisory, and end-to-end contract negotiation, including IT contracts.
  • You should possess strong communication and drafting skills in English.
  • A demonstrable understanding and experience in laws related to employment, fintech-associated laws, digital lending, and intellectual property is essential.
  • You should be able to independently coordinate with internal and external stakeholders as necessary.
  • The ability to keep track of legal expenses and promptly notify seniors is required.
  • Expertise in maintaining and periodically updating MIS trackers is expected.
  • Strong legal research and analytical skills are necessary.
  • A passion to analyze legal aspects of new products related to the fintech space is desired.
  • The ability to provide timely support as a team member on a wide array of regulatory projects is crucial.
  • A willingness to identify and take up new tasks and be a team player is essential.
  • Fluency in MS Office and related tools is required.
Qualifications
  • The ideal candidate should be an independent, result-oriented, self-motivated individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
  • A law degree (LL.B) from a reputed law school is mandatory.
  • The candidate should be punctual, transparent, responsible, and able to take end-to-end accountability for their matters.
