Job Overview:
The successful candidate will be responsible for end-to-end contract management, review, negotiation, and updating internal legal policies and handbooks. This role requires collaboration with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with legal requirements and maintain a secure business environment. Ideal candidates will have a keen interest in technology, security, and data protection.
Key Responsibilities:
• Management of all legal documents with clients, vendors, and third parties.
• Liaising with internal stakeholders for end-to-end client onboarding and contract management.
• Oversight of the entire contract lifecycle, including implementation and optimization of the Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) tool to enhance its benefits across the organization.
• Coordination and collaboration for company-wide contracts, ensuring legal compliance and working closely with external counsel as needed.
• Advisory services on contract status, legal risks, and liabilities related to various transactions, ensuring timely execution of contracts.
• Development of risk mitigation strategies for conducting business in India and globally, creation of internal legal policies, and maintenance of a single source of truth.
• Expert advice on data privacy and cybersecurity issues affecting the company globally, working closely with the management and data protection officer to ensure compliance with global data regulations and best practices.
• Guidance on company law, SEBI, FEMA, and DPDP matters to ensure compliance with respective acts and laws.
• Review and vetting of contracts, NDAs, and MSAs for all focus markets globally.
Requirements:
• 6-8 years of relevant post-qualification experience.
• LL.B/LL.M degree from a reputable institution.
• Proven ability to draft, negotiate, and manage commercial contracts, including MSAs, NDAs, SaaS, and EULAs.
• Strong understanding of data privacy and technology laws, corporate laws, and intellectual property laws.
• Excellent negotiation and interpretation skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to take ownership and ensure closure of all legal matters.
