Information Security Specialist

This role focuses on ensuring the security of the Workday application by configuring, maintaining, and advising on relevant policies and practices. The key areas of emphasis include domain security, roles, and access controls.

  • Configuration and Maintenance: Implement and uphold domain security policies, roles, and role assignments within the Workday platform.
  • Security Advisory Role: Provide expert guidance on best practices to ensure compliance with divisional and data security policies.
  • Compliance and Auditing: Regularly conduct audits on system roles and access logs to guarantee accuracy and provide evidence of implemented security controls during internal and external assessments.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Workday's security features and controls, as well as knowledge of SOX and data privacy regulations.

They should possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, be comfortable enforcing adherence to security policies and practices, and exhibit strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical abilities.
