Job Title: Senior Culinary Manager

About the Role:

The primary objective of this position is to maintain an efficient operation by consistently analyzing quality and cost of food production. This involves ensuring that all culinary services are provided in accordance with high standards, maintaining a clean and safe working environment, and managing food costs effectively.

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as adherence to menu standards and recipes.
  • Develop and implement systems, procedures, and rules to improve quality and efficiency.
  • Monitor and control labor costs, inventory levels, and waste management.
  • Provide ongoing training and coaching to staff members to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Conduct regular taste tests and ensure that all dishes meet the required standards.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on food production, waste management, and labor costs.
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop menus, pricing strategies, and marketing campaigns.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Advanced culinary skills and experience in a leadership role.
  • Minimum of 8 years in the profession (Quality Hotels and Restaurants).
  • Fluent in written and spoken English and ability to communicate effectively with senior management.
  • Possess ability to lead and make decisions, as well as administrative skills.
  • Experienced in coaching subordinates and able to work under pressure.
