This role is responsible for preparing food items for the menu requested by your supervisor.
- You must possess advanced knife handling skills and be able to work in any section of the kitchen.
- A good food knowledge and understanding of culinary terms are also essential.
- You must be able to read, understand, follow, and prepare company recipes.
- You should be proficient in completing tasks, working efficiently and productively.
- You will always follow Public Health guidelines within your section and maintain your assigned area in preparation for inspections.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of experience in an upscale hotel, resort, cruise ship or convention banqueting service and at least 2 years as a Culinary Specialist.
A culinary school degree is required, along with strong management skills in a multicultural and dynamic environment.
You should have very strong communication, problem-solving, decision-making, and people skills, as well as superior customer service, team building, and conflict resolution skills.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Culinary Arts Degree
