As a Performance Test Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the high availability and optimal performance of our services. Your primary goal will be to design, develop, and execute comprehensive performance testing strategies that identify and mitigate potential issues before they impact our users.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage in the entire lifecycle of services - from inception and design, through deployment, operation, and refinement.
  • Support services before they go live by providing system design consulting, capacity planning, risk assessments, and launch reviews.
  • Maintain services once they are live by measuring and monitoring availability, latency, and overall system health.
  • Run continuous improvement activities that enhance service availability, recovery, efficiency, and performance.
  • Collaborate with your team to implement highly available and scalable architectures for core and third-party components of the service.
  • Develop and implement metrics, monitoring, and incident response processes.
  • Align with or improve change management and capacity planning processes.
  • Monitor manual effort levels and drive improvements through automation and stability.
  • Proactively improve service availability, performance, and efficiency via delivery of implemented metrics, monitoring, and incident response processes.

Essential Qualifications:
  • End-to-end performance testing using LoadRunner and JMeter.
  • Hands-on experience with monitoring tools like APPD, Grafana, Splunk, etc., performance engineering activities.
  • DevOps and CI/CD, WebLogic, Oracle Databases, cloud-native services.
