Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Proposal Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating technical proposals that meet the needs of our customers.

  • Prepare and evaluate technical documents for project bidding processes, including technical offers, system architectures, bills of materials, basic designs, calculations, and commercial offers.
  • Organize bid initiation and review meetings, ensuring timely clarification of bid submissions.
  • Lead core teams to evaluate customer requirements and produce technical responses to RFQs from current and potential customers.
  • Perform site visits to collect information and address utility/facility constraints regarding projects.
  • Take daily and weekly project sales meetings, monitoring progress and preparing weekly reports on the status of each project.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Basic electrical and control knowledge with experience in estimation of DCS, PLC, RTU, SCADA, HMI, MCC, PCC, VFD, APFC, and other control panels.
  • Ability to read electrical drawings and select switchgear based on motor load lists, with knowledge of current load calculation and bus bar selection.
  • Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and preparation of GA in Excel.
  • Ability to prepare detailed technical offers, system architectures, BOMs, heat loads, and power calculations for control panels.
  • Strong communication, analytical, relationship management, and problem-solving skills.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics/ENTC/Instrumentation.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with Honeywell systems.
