About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Student Counsellor. In this role, you will play a vital part in empowering students to succeed by providing guidance and support throughout their academic journey.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Counselling Services: You will provide impartial and honest advice to students on studying abroad, helping them make informed decisions about their future.
  • Shortlisting Universities: With prior experience in shortlisting universities based on course, rankings, specialization, location preference, and financial ability of the student/parent, you will help students find the perfect fit for their needs.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for this role, as you will be working closely with students, parents, and colleagues to deliver effective counselling services.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and good typing skills are required to maintain accurate records and create engaging presentations.
  • Prior Experience: Prior experience in counselling students, preferably from the study abroad sector, is a must. Your passion for helping students and your ability to provide clear and concise information will make you an ideal candidate for this role.
  • Record-Keeping: Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in our CRM system is crucial for this position, ensuring that we can track student progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Presentation Skills: As a representative of our organization, you will be responsible for delivering engaging talks and presentations to students via webinars, seminars, and virtual counselling sessions using Zoom and Google Meet.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: A degree in a related field and/or relevant experience in counselling or education.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills, proficiency in MS Office, and prior experience in counselling students.
  • Personality: A genuine passion for helping students, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
