Dispute Resolution Specialist

At the heart of our organisation is a commitment to fair and transparent business practices. As part of our customer experience and compliance team, we are seeking a skilled Dispute Resolution Specialist to drive end-to-end grievance redressal across all channels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day dispute resolution on email/phone and other channels, acknowledging customer concerns within defined time frames and driving first-time resolution with internal teams.
  • Track and resolve RBI CMS/Ombudsman-related cases, maintaining accurate records and evidence.
  • Maintain a Board-approved Grievance Redressal Policy summary and publish contact details as required for NBFCs.

Escalation Management:

  • Handle credit-bureau disputes by liaising with customers and internal teams to resolve reported complaints.

Regulatory Compliance:

  • Ensure complete records for internal audit, statutory audit, and RBI inspections, including complaint logs, TATs, decisions, and communications.
  • Share periodic MIS reports to leadership, highlighting themes and preventive actions.

Fraud and Cybercrime Handling:

  • Report phishing/impersonation/loan-app clones/UPI frauds using Refyne's name to law enforcement authorities.
  • Coordinate with local cyber police/CID and legal for FIR/zero-FIR where applicable, maintaining records and logs.
  • Work with InfoSec to run awareness and hardening programs against KYC abuse, mule-accounts, and social engineering patterns.

Process Excellence and Analytics:

  • Define and track SLAs (acknowledgement, resolution), FCR, reopen rate, bureau correction TAT, repeat root causes, and Ombudsman incidence.
  • Build dashboards and run monthly RCA and CAPA to drive policy/UX changes reducing inflow.

Requirements:

  • 5–9 years in grievance redressal, customer advocacy & credit-bureau ops in NBFC/fintech/bank.
  • Strong working knowledge of RBI Integrated Ombudsman Scheme (RB-IOS), CMS portal workflows, and complaint documentation.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and strong communication skills, both oral and written.
  • CRM/Ticketing (Freshdesk/Zendesk/Salesforce), RBI CMS portal, NCRP (cybercrime.gov.in), bureau portals/APIs (CIBIL/Experian/Equifax/CRIF).
