We are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer with system administration expertise to join our IT infrastructure team.

Job Overview
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management and maintenance of our network infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring and troubleshooting of Layer 2 (switching) and Layer 3 (routing) network infrastructure.
  • Configuration and maintenance of network devices such as switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points.
  • Handling VLANs, trunking, STP, port security, and link aggregation.
  • Assisting in escalated issues from lower-level engineers and coordinating with vendors if required.
  • Performing regular network health checks, patching, and firmware upgrades.
  • Documenting network topologies, configurations, and standard operating procedures.
System Administration
  • Administering Windows/Mac systems Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and group policies.
  • Performing user account management, access control, and security policy enforcement.
  • Maintaining virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V/KVM) and cloud-based environments.
  • Monitoring server performance, storage, and backups, ensuring business continuity.
  • Applying OS patches, updates, and security hardening.
  • Supporting troubleshooting of applications and system-level issues escalated from lower-level engineers.
Collaboration & Support
  • Working closely with lower-level engineers, providing guidance and training where needed.
  • Coordinating with cross-functional teams to support IT projects and deployments.
  • Creating and maintaining documentation for both network and system processes.
  • Participating in on-call rotations for critical issues.
