Senior Network and System Administrator

System engineers in this role are responsible for monitoring, maintaining and enhancing network and server infrastructure. They provide first and second level IT support globally and collaborate closely with operations and development teams to ensure system availability, security and performance.
Key responsibilities include monitoring, troubleshooting and maintaining network and system operations. Server administration is a key part of this role, including administering Linux and Windows servers. The system engineer will also be required to deploy, configure and support cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) and automate operational tasks using Python, Shell or similar scripting languages.
In addition to the skills mentioned above, the ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of PC/laptop hardware, basic networking and Windows 10/Office 365 administration. Experience with server OS, Active Directory, SharePoint, Teams and telephony/collaboration solutions is highly desirable as is familiarity with cloud technologies and Microsoft Azure.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or related field and a proven track record in managing and supporting IT infrastructure.
