System Administrator Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced system administrator to manage our server infrastructure. This individual will oversee the daily operations, ensuring stability, security, and performance of all servers and relevant systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily server operations, including troubleshooting and maintenance.
  • Install, configure, and maintain physical and virtual servers running Windows.
  • Design, develop, and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) blueprints for cloud and on-prem environments using tools like Terraform.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and management for repeatable and auditable deployments using Ansible.
  • Administer cloud services, including deployment, configuration, security, and monitoring to ensure reliable, scalable, and cost-effective IT operations in Azure.
  • Ensure high availability and optimal performance of all server systems and services.
  • Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, file servers, and other core infrastructure services.
  • Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions.
  • Monitor system performance and proactively address potential issues.
  • Collaborate with network, security, and application teams to support business needs.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, including SOPs, diagrams, and asset inventories.
  • Ensure compliance with IT policies, security standards, and audit requirements.
  • Participate in capacity planning and infrastructure scaling initiatives.
  • Provide on-call support and manage incident response for critical server issues.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server environments.
  • Experience with virtualization platforms (Citrix, Nutanix, VMware, Hyper-V, etc.).
  • Familiarity with Ansible, Terraform, and DevOps framework.
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code platform.
  • Familiarity with Azure cloud platform.
  • Proficient in scripting (PowerShell, Bash, etc.) for automation.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
