Job Description

This role is responsible for overseeing IT infrastructure projects across multiple sites, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and priorities.

  • Plan, execute, and manage IT infrastructure projects to deliver quality outcomes.
  • Oversee a portfolio of projects, ensuring successful project execution and meeting deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Project Portfolio Management:

    • Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, and resources.
    • Ensure effective communication and collaboration among cross-functional teams.

  2. End-to-End Project Delivery:

    • Lead infrastructure projects, including office setup, hardware obsolescence management, and new tool rollouts.
    • Coordinate IT infrastructure setup and migration.

  3. Budget and Vendor Management:

    • Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost efficiency.
    • Oversee vendor selection, contract negotiations, and performance management.

  4. Risk and Issue Management:

    • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to minimize disruptions.
    • Resolve project issues promptly, escalating them when necessary.

  5. Process Improvement and Innovation:

    • Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance project delivery efficiency.
    • Drive innovation in IT infrastructure projects by adopting new tools and technologies.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Infrastructure Domains Expertise:

    • In-depth knowledge of EUX (Endpoint management, collaboration tools, and user support).
    • Familiarity with network services, data platforms, and cloud computing.

  • Tools and Technologies:

    • Hands-on experience with VMware, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco, and Equinix.
    • Project management tools like MS Project or Jira.

  • Project and IT Management Methodologies:

    • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies such as PMP or Agile.
    • Familiarity with ITIL processes for incident, problem, and change management.
