Quality Assurance Executive

This is a key role within our organization, responsible for ensuring the quality of our products meets the highest standards.

Job Description:

The Quality Assurance Executive will be responsible for conducting quality checks on incoming raw materials, in-process production, and finished products. This includes identifying defects, implementing corrective actions, and maintaining documentation as per industry and company standards.

The successful candidate will have a strong knowledge of quality control tools, such as 5 Why, Fishbone Diagram, and Pareto Analysis. They will also be familiar with testing equipment used in small home appliances and cookware, and have good communication and documentation skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct quality checks for incoming raw materials, in-process production, and finished products.
  • Ensure product compliance with industry standards (e.g. ISO, BIS) and internal quality guidelines.
  • Collaborate with the production team to identify root causes of defects and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain quality documentation, inspection reports, and SOPs.
  • Perform regular audits on manufacturing processes to ensure quality consistency.
  • Handle customer complaints and support after-sales service teams with technical insights.
  • Assist in training production staff on quality parameters and best practices.
  • Monitor and evaluate supplier quality and provide feedback for improvement.
Requirements:
  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in quality control, preferably in consumer durables or kitchen appliances.
