Job Title: Project Director

We are seeking an accomplished Project Director to spearhead our Passenger Car Body-In-White (BIW) design initiatives. This senior role requires a mechanical engineer with 6-8 years of experience in BIW design, capable of leading projects from conceptualization to completion.

The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of Passenger Car BIW structure and assembly techniques, with expertise in joining methods of BIW structures, component generation, and cost optimization ideas on components and assembly.

A strong understanding of Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) of BIW components is essential. Proficiency in NX surfacing and Team Center, along with experience in prototyping activities, is also expected.

Responsibilities include managing project plans, coordinating with cross-functional teams and suppliers, participating in design reviews and packaging reviews, and ensuring timely delivery of projects.

Our ideal candidate will be a results-driven professional with a strong background in Passenger Car BIW design and experience in project leadership. They will be responsible for driving project success through effective communication, resource allocation, and conflict resolution.
