Job Description

As a skilled Network Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in providing remote support to consultants and local IT teams in India and Singapore. Your primary objective will be to ensure seamless connectivity and troubleshoot issues related to device setup, router configuration, and VPN management.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as we embark on the pilot deployment of a new enterprise connectivity initiative. As part of this project, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues and develop solutions that meet our clients' needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct remote support to consultants and local IT teams for device setup and connectivity troubleshooting.
  • Configure routers from unboxing to deployment, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime.
  • Troubleshoot Netgear Nighthawk devices and similar enterprise Wi-Fi equipment, identifying and resolving technical issues efficiently.
  • Offer step-by-step guidance to end-users during live troubleshooting calls, ensuring they are equipped to resolve issues independently.
  • Manage VPN setup, configuration, and troubleshooting for remote users, guaranteeing secure and reliable access to our network.
  • Document troubleshooting workflows and escalate critical issues to global IT teams when necessary.
Required Skills & Experience
  • 4+ years of experience in Network Support or IT Infrastructure roles, with a proven track record of success.
  • Extensive experience configuring routers, VPNs, and enterprise Wi-Fi devices, with hands-on knowledge of CLI and GUI interfaces.
  • Ability to explain and walk through router configuration processes, communicating complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong knowledge of VPN technologies, including IPSec, SSL, Cisco AnyConnect, Zscaler, and other relevant protocols.
  • Hands-on experience with Netgear Nighthawk or equivalent devices, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Excellent English proficiency, with the ability to guide consultants and IT staff effectively, communicate complex technical information, and provide clear instructions.
Nice to Have
  • Experience supporting enterprise or consulting environments, with exposure to large-scale multi-country IT support rollouts.
