Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Expertise in developing and optimizing complex database solutions using PL/SQL packages, procedures, triggers, and functions.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable database architectures, ensuring high performance and efficiency.
  • Debug, tune, and optimize database queries for large-scale databases, improving overall system performance.
  • Develop Unix Shell scripts for data processing and automation tasks, streamlining workflows and increasing productivity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support development, testing, and production environments, ensuring seamless integration of systems.
  • Provide production support, identify root causes, and implement permanent fixes for recurring issues, minimizing downtime.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, participating in code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and standards.
  • Ensure data security, integrity, and compliance with organizational standards, protecting sensitive information.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Advanced PL/SQL expertise, including coding, debugging, and optimization.
  • Database Performance Tuning knowledge, including AWR, TKPROF, and indexing strategies.
  • Shell Scripting & Unix experience for automation, deployment, and production support.
  • Strong experience with Oracle Forms & Reports development, including Forms (10g/11g/12c) and Reports.
  • Proficiency in Database Platforms: Oracle Database (11g/12c/19c).
  • Version Control Systems: Git, SVN, or similar tools.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and SDLC best practices.
