Job Title: Chief Database Solutions Architect

This role is critical in providing strategic database administrative support for all environments.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Database Administration: Install, configure, and maintain SQL Server instances to ensure optimal performance.
  • High-Availability Solutions: Implement and manage Always On Availability Groups and clustering to minimize downtime.
  • Development Support: Collaborate with development teams to resolve database-related issues using ServiceNow ticketing system.
  • Performance Monitoring: Review production performance reports to identify variances from normal operation.

Requirements:

  • Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of Oracle (19c, 21c, 22c) and proficiency in MSSQL Server and Aurora PostgreSQL databases.
  • Experience: Minimum 7+ years of relevant experience as a Microsoft SQL Server Database Administrator (2016 or later).

Primary Skills:

  • Proven Experience: Proven experience as an L2 and L3 Engineer or higher in managing large-scale MSSQL, Oracle, and PostgreSQL environments.
