Job Title: Oracle Developer

Oracle developers are sought after for designing and developing cutting-edge database solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Oracle Database development, SQL, and PL/SQL programming.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining robust Oracle-based applications and database solutions that support business-critical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Oracle PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and views.
  • Write efficient SQL queries and optimize existing code to improve performance.
  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions that meet organizational needs.
  • Participate in database design, modeling, and architecture discussions to ensure best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex database-related performance, security, and functional issues.
  • Ensure data integrity, quality, and consistency across multiple applications.
  • Support integration of Oracle databases with other systems and applications to drive business growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions that meet business objectives.
  • Implement and maintain robust database security policies, backup, and recovery strategies to minimize downtime.
  • Stay updated with the latest Oracle technologies and industry best practices to remain competitive.

Requirements:

  • 4-9 years of proven experience as an Oracle developer with a strong track record of delivering results.
  • Expertise in SQL and PL/SQL programming with hands-on experience in Oracle Database 11g/12c/19c.
  • Good understanding of performance tuning, query optimization, and indexing strategies to drive efficiency.
  • Experience in database design, normalization, and data modeling to ensure scalability.
  • Knowledge of ETL processes, data migration, and integration techniques to facilitate seamless integration.
  • Familiarity with Unix/Linux shell scripting for automation to streamline processes.
  • Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with cloud databases (OCI, AWS RDS, Azure SQL) to drive innovation.
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies to drive project delivery.
