Job Title: Team Lead - Liabilities Portfolio
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Lead to join our Liabilities Portfolio team at DBS Bank. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving business performance, delivering exceptional customer service, and leading a team of sales professionals to achieve sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement business strategies to grow the liabilities portfolio, including operating accounts, term deposits, and structured cash management sales.
- Lead a team of sales professionals to achieve sales targets, provide coaching and guidance, and ensure excellent customer service.
- Monitor progress towards achieving targets, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with other business units to ensure seamless delivery of products and services to clients.
- Ensure compliance with operations risk and rigour requirements, safety standards, and security measures.
Requirements:
- 8-10 years of experience in sales, with 6-8 years in business banking and/or cash management/transaction banking.
- Proven sales track record in liabilities or cash management.
- Knowledge of competitors and market place.
- Market knowledge and experience in the Mid-market/SME segment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Post-graduation or minimum graduation.
Core Competencies:
- Customer-centric and product-centric.
- Good technical knowledge of cash management/transaction banking business.
- Good team leader.
- Good problem-solving, planning, and organizing skills.
- Well-versed in AML risk.
Technical Competencies:
- Knowledge and experience in the Mid-market (Respective Region)/SME segment.
- Understanding of regulatory guidelines on banking issued by MAS and by RBI (local regulations in India) and local laws and regulations that impact businesses in general.
- Knowledge of financial markets and products to assist in meaningful dialogue with clients.
Work Relationship:
- Possess good working relationship and a high degree of team spirit and cooperation with relationship group as well as service partners in the bank such as Product Mgt, Operations, Finance, Legal etc., to ensure seamless delivery of products to clients.
- Establish rapport with our clients to win their business, confidence, and trust.
