Job Title: Contractor, Client Servicing Operations

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our Client Service Operations team as a contractor. This individual will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless execution and management of ongoing projects by supporting Account Managers and effectively communicating with clients.

The successful candidate will possess advanced language proficiency in both business Japanese and English, allowing them to handle client interactions and internal communications effortlessly. They will be responsible for building strong client relationships, preparing service quotations, managing timely invoice submissions, and identifying opportunities for improvement in services, processes, and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Account Managers: Assist in managing ongoing projects, ensuring their successful completion and customer satisfaction.
  • Client Communication: Handle client queries in business Japanese, translating and updating internal teams in English for seamless communication.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong client relationships by understanding their needs and providing tailored service options.
  • Service Quotations: Prepare accurate service quotations and manage timely invoice submissions according to contracts.
  • Risk Mitigation: Accurately understand and convey customer expectations to the team, mitigating risks and miscommunications.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements in services, processes, and systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Japanese Language Proficiency: N1/N2 level certification, reflecting advanced language skills.
  • Candidate Profile: 1-2 years of experience in a client-facing role, preferably in sales or client services; experience in Life Sciences is a plus.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced skills in MS Office, especially in Word and Excel.
  • Communication and Organization: Strong communication and organizational abilities, ensuring clear and efficient client interactions.
  • Adaptability: Proven adaptability to changing business needs, maintaining effectiveness in dynamic environments.
