Job Title: Technical Support Specialist

Shyld AI is a pioneering company in the field of Physical AI Agents that aim to revolutionize infection prevention and operational intelligence in hospitals and controlled environments.

As we expand globally, we are seeking an IT Engineer to support our distributed team and ensure secure, reliable IT operations across systems, networks, and devices.

The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to work independently while coordinating with U.S.-based colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide remote support for employees' hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
  • Manage onboarding and offboarding processes, including provisioning laptops, accounts, and tools.
  • Maintain documentation for IT support procedures.
  • Manage user accounts and permissions across tools such as Google Workspace, Slack, GitHub, Jira, Zoom, and cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Implement IT security best practices to protect sensitive data (HIPAA, SOC2 alignment).
  • Suggest and implement improvements in IT processes and workflows.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 3+ years of IT support, systems administration, or similar experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows, macOS, and Linux environments.
  • Experience with Google Workspace / Office 365 administration.
  • Familiarity with VPNs, firewalls, endpoint protection, and security best practices.
