IT Support Specialist Job

We are seeking a skilled IT support specialist to provide technical assistance to employees and maintain the company's computer systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Offer first-level technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Assist in maintaining computers, servers, and networking equipment.
  • Install and update software across the company's systems.
  • Identify, diagnose, and resolve basic IT problems related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.
  • Ensure regular data backups and contribute to the company's data security efforts.
  • Maintain accurate records of IT assets, issues, and resolutions in a ticketing system.
  • Monitor and maintain the company's local area network (LAN) and internet connectivity.
  • Support basic IT security tasks, such as ensuring antivirus updates and security patches are applied.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Experience: 2-3 years of experience in IT support or administration.
  • Skills:
  • Proficiency in Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Understanding of network concepts.
  • Familiarity with hardware components.
  • Office productivity software skills.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a proactive attitude.
  • Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills to interact with non-technical staff.
  • Team Player: Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions.
