
Technical Support Specialist Position

We are seeking a skilled IT support specialist to provide technical assistance to employees and maintain the company's computer systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Offer first-level technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Assist in maintaining computers, servers, and networking equipment.
- Install and update software across the company's systems.
- Identify, diagnose, and resolve basic IT problems related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.
- Ensure regular data backups and contribute to the company's data security efforts.
- Maintain accurate records of IT assets, issues, and resolutions in a ticketing system.
- Monitor and maintain the company's local area network (LAN) and internet connectivity.
- Support basic IT security tasks, such as ensuring antivirus updates and security patches are applied.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Experience: 2-3 years of experience in IT support or administration.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Understanding of network concepts.
- Familiarity with hardware components.
- Office productivity software skills.
- Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a proactive attitude.
- Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills to interact with non-technical staff.
- Team Player: Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions.
