Payroll Specialist Role

This position involves overseeing the entire payroll process, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery of payments to employees.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement weekly, monthly or bi-weekly payroll processes with a minimum 1-2 years of experience.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to understand their requirements, discuss business solutions and recommend production enhancements.
  • Collaborate closely with US teams and clients for end-to-end payroll management.
  • Ensure 100% accuracy in payroll processing.
  • Process stop payments, reissue checks as needed and manage wage garnishment deductions.
  • Monitor ACH rejects, research payroll tickets and handle queries efficiently.
  • Manage payroll state registrations, final check preparations and local tax compliance.
  • Implement and maintain various software such as QuickBooks Online, Gusto, Rippling, ADP Run, ADP WFN, Trinet, Paylocity, Justworks and other systems.
  • Produce various payroll reports from respective systems.
  • Maintain effective communication with clients, employees and vendors.
  • Process payroll accurately and timely according to procedures and client requirements.
  • Perform pre- and post-payroll, tax reconciliation and ensure strong time and priority management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite (Docs, Sheets) required.
  • Familiarity with Form 940, 941, W-4, W-2, I-9, FICA, SUTA, Health Benefits, 401k, State Tax Filing, TPA administration, Workers Comp Insurance, Gross-Up/Non-Gross up Bonus/Commissions, Overtime Calculation based on state guidelines.
  • Experience includes Wage Type process, Year End process, in-depth understanding of Schemas, Rules, Functions, analytical skills, problem-solving skills.

As a Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the payroll process from start to finish. This includes implementing and maintaining payroll systems, communicating with clients and employees, and ensuring accurate and timely payment of wages.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in payroll management and will be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite. They will also have familiarity with various payroll software and systems, including QuickBooks Online, Gusto, Rippling, ADP Run, ADP WFN, Trinet, Paylocity, Justworks and other systems.

In addition to technical skills, the successful candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and time management skills.
