As a senior bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records for clients across the U.S. The ideal candidate will have experience in SMB or franchise bookkeeping with proficiency in QuickBooks Online and at least one POS system. You will also have knowledge of U.S. GAAP basics, sales tax, payroll journal entries, and multi-state nuances.

The responsibilities of this role include:

  • Managing daily postings and month-end close for multiple locations;
  • Reconciling bank/credit card/merchant accounts and third-party delivery or marketplace deposits;
  • Matching POS sales to deposits and resolving over/short cash variances;
