About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Field Sales Engineer to join our team at Waters (India) Private Limited. As a Field Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our analytical instruments in the Eastern Region of India. You will have excellent technical knowledge, sales skills, and a strong understanding of the Indian market.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparation of business plans, territory plans, reports, and tender documents for customers.
  • Utilization of COMPASS Management to create opportunities and quotes.
  • Order forwarding and after-sales follow-ups for payment and installation.
  • Planning and execution of customer demonstrations with the collaboration of demo lab specialists.
  • Collaboration with departments to ensure customer success.
  • Close working relationship with Instrument Sales, Chemistry Operations, and Informatics teams.

Essential Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's/Master's Degree in a scientific field like chemistry, biology, or biochemistry.
  • Technical knowledge and practical solution-selling experience in LC/MS/Informatics/LC-MS.
  • Experience in laboratories, particularly in chromatography and mass spectrometry.
  • Exposure to relevant fields/industries.
