Proposal Writer Job Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned Federal Proposal Writer to spearhead our US government contracting efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing RFP/RFQ/RFI processes, crafting compelling proposals, and driving business development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute bid management strategies to secure new contracts and grow existing relationships with USA Federal/State/County and Commercial clients.
  • Utilize expertise in Capture management, pre-sales activities, and proactive/reactive bids to drive business growth and improve services/product functionality/processes.
  • Collaborate with practice teams to create customer/vertical-specific sales collaterals, such as case studies, solution documents, and white papers.
  • Support the sales team in developing account penetration strategies and account-specific sales plans.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in IT services/staffing companies, with a focus on pre-sales and proposal writing.
  • Thorough understanding of US Federal government contracting, SLED contracting, and End-to-End sales life cycle.
  • Proven track record in RFP/RFQ/RII management, Capture management, lead generation, and Bid Management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex stakeholders and design compelling solutions/proposals.
  • Hands-on experience with US Federal government contracting, including Contract vehicles, GWACs, GSA Platform & IDIQs, and familiarity with portals like SAM.GOV, GovTribe, GovWIN, FedConnect & GSA and FPDS.
