Proposal Development Lead

Job Description:

As a senior proposal development lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the creation of compelling responses to complex business opportunities.

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to develop comprehensive proposal content, ensuring that proposals are compliant, complete, and persuasive.
  • Lead the end-to-end proposal development process from initial review to final submission.
  • Develop proposal response materials, including outlines, compliance matrices, proposal management plans, writing templates, and desktop publishing of the final response.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather and incorporate technical, financial, and operational information.
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to proposal development and submission.
  • Ensure win themes and differentiators are included in the proposal, delivering a compelling response to the customer or partner.

To excel in this role, you should have excellent communication and collaboration skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Your strong analytical and problem-solving skills will enable you to identify and address potential issues before they impact the proposal.

In addition to your professional experience and expertise, you must possess a keen understanding of business development principles and practices. You should be able to adapt quickly to changing requirements and deliver high-quality results under pressure.
