Job Title: Server Infrastructure Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive professional to manage our server infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in server management and administration, including hands-on expertise in managing Linux-based environments.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality technical support for our Linux server environments, ensuring compliance with customer SLAs. They will perform daily compute operations, including incident management, service requests, change requests, and root cause analysis, aligned with ITIL processes.

In addition, they will manage the full server lifecycle: installation, configuration, maintenance, monitoring, and decommissioning (physical and virtual servers). They will conduct performance testing, system tuning, and troubleshooting for server-related issues, especially during outages or degradation.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience with Linux OS operations and server administration (physical and virtual). Proficiency in hypervisor technologies, especially XEN and VMware, is also required. In-depth knowledge of LVM, DNS, LDAP, and IPTables is necessary.

A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred. Experience with server monitoring tools, performance tuning, and root cause analysis is a plus. Familiarity with automation tools (e.g., Chef) and scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Perl) is also desirable.

Additional skills include exposure to cloud platforms (associate-level understanding of AWS, Azure, or GCP). Basic experience with GitHub and Jira is required.
