Server Engineer Role

A senior Server Engineer is needed to oversee the management, support, and optimization of on-premise and cloud-based server environments. Key responsibilities include administering, monitoring, and troubleshooting Windows Server environments (2016/2019/2022), configuring and managing services in Microsoft Azure (VMs, Azure AD, Networking, Storage, etc.), managing server patching, performance tuning, and routine maintenance tasks, implementing and supporting backup and disaster recovery strategies using Azure Backup, ASR, or other tools, maintaining infrastructure documentation, change management, and asset tracking, collaborating with security and network teams to maintain compliance and security standards, and providing L3/L4 support for infrastructure-related incidents and escalations.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in server administration and infrastructure support.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services.
  • Expertise in Windows Server OS, Active Directory, and related services.
  • Experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V.
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, etc.).
  • Familiarity with PowerShell scripting and automation.

This position involves overseeing server management, infrastructure support, and cloud services. A strong background in server administration, infrastructure support, and Azure services is required. The ideal candidate will have experience with Windows Server OS, Active Directory, and related services, as well as knowledge of virtualization platforms and networking concepts.
