Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Culinary Operations Manager to join our culinary team at Ibis Chennai City Center - An Accor Brand.

Salary: ₹60,000 - ₹80,000 per month (estimated based on location and industry standards)

About the Role

  • This is a leadership role that requires direction and supervision of the kitchen team while ensuring highest-level quality and consistency in preparation and presentation of dishes.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and coordinating activities of the team to ensure operative effectiveness.
  • They will also be responsible for monitoring operations of the department to minimize food wastage and maximize employee productivity.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate kitchen activities to ensure efficient operation.
  • Supervise the function of the kitchen team, facilities, and costs to contribute to the overall Food & Beverage department's profit.
  • Ensure that all tasks are correctly and timeously completed by re-arranging duties and rosters as necessary.
  • Responsible for the production, preparation, and presentation of all food items to ensure highest quality at all times.
  • Control and analyze quality levels of production and presentation, guest satisfaction, operating food cost, cleanliness, sanitation, and hygiene.

Requirements

  • Culinary degree or equivalent experience.
  • Leadership experience in a similar role.
