Job Title: Senior Business Leader

The role involves overseeing a team responsible for new business and policy servicing within the Group Operations department. Key responsibilities include leading a team to process new business and end-to-end policy servicing for group business, working closely with Sales and Actuarial teams for closure of individual Group processes, and ensuring an efficient service is provided to intermediaries and customers.

Main Priorities:

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams for seamless execution of group business processes.
  • Drive issuance of policies and resolution of customer and intermediary queries in a timely manner.
  • Ensure consistent application of established procedures to maintain quality standards.
  • Implement quality controls to proactively manage and anticipate problems.
  • Supervise and train an effective team that meets the evolving needs of the organization.
  • Collaborate with finance for reconciliation of policy account balances.
  • Promote transformation and digitization of group business operations.

Qualifications & Experience:

A minimum of 8-10 years' experience in customer services or operations, preferably in the financial services industry, with a strong track record of leadership and team management.

Key Skills:

  • Excellent operational knowledge in the financial services sector.
  • Experience within the Group Operations department of an insurance company.
  • Data processing skills to deliver operational efficiency.
  • Proficiency in using databases, office management software, word processors, and spreadsheets.
