Senior E-commerce Director

Description:

The Senior E-commerce Director is a pivotal role that oversees the strategic vision and operational execution of e-commerce across multiple channels.

This leadership position requires an exceptional strategist with outstanding leadership skills to drive growth, optimize inventory, and manage cross-functional teams effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive e-commerce strategy that aligns with business objectives
  • Manage full P&L for the geography, setting aggressive revenue, margin, and CAC/LTV targets
  • Forecast demand and manage end-to-end inventory, ensuring minimal stock-out and ageing stock
  • Craft and execute 360° marketing plans, allocating budgets for maximum ROAS
  • Negotiate with 3PLs, payment partners, and duty consultants to optimize landed costs and SLAs
  • Recruit, mentor, and performance-manage cross-functional teams
  • Champion customer obsession, mining VOC insights to feed product updates and CX enhancements
  • Drive strategic partnerships to amplify reach
  • Ensure legal and tax compliance, including cosmetics claims, import duties, and GDPR-like mandates
  • Present quarterly business reviews to Global Leadership, highlighting wins, risks, and next bets
  • Deploy test-and-learn culture, running A/Bs on funnels, creatives, bundles, and pricing levers
  • Set up disaster-recovery and continuity plans for supply, logistics, ads, and key seller accounts
  • Benchmark competition, delivering actionable intel on pricing, share-of-voice, and shelf velocity
