About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Specialist/Counsellor to develop in-depth knowledge about our educational products, industry, and customer base to support customers' purchase decisions.

This role provides fast growth opportunities to leadership positions with top performance, exemplary teamwork, and leadership potential demonstrated.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a thorough understanding of Suraasa products and articulate their value to potential customers.
  • Engage with potential customers, identify their pain points, and create personalized growth journeys to help them purchase products meeting their career objectives.
  • Counsel leads on personal growth prospects in the education industry.
  • Maintain excellent rapport with all leads.
  • Follow up after sales to ensure customer satisfaction and gain referrals.
  • Stay updated on market trends and participate in brainstorming sessions with the sales team to develop new growth strategies.
  • Use CRM to track leads and manage pipelines daily.
  • Achieve monthly targets and unlock fast growth opportunities within the department.

Qualification Criteria:

  • 6 months to 2 years of experience in Sales/Marketing (preferably Ed Tech/Academic/school/clinical counseling).
  • Excellent verbal communication skills, strong conversationalist, and well-versed in English.
  • Strong negotiation and objection handling skills with ability to work within deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team while maintaining a professional client-oriented attitude.
  • Understand the Education Industry landscape and current needs of teachers and school leaders.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office/Google Documents and CRM systems.
