Unlocking the Power of Retention

We're seeking a seasoned professional to take on our most critical challenge: preventing user churn and reactivating lapsed listeners. As a key member of our team, you'll develop strategies to save users or bring them back home.

Your mission will be laser-focused on understanding why users churn and developing the right approach to win them back. This hands-on role requires a problem-solver who can run experiments, analyze data, and see direct impact on our user base.

Key Responsibilities

1. Churn Prevention & Intervention

  • Identify at-risk users by leveraging predictive models and your own analysis, working closely with our data team.
  • Go beyond quantitative insights to understand the root causes of dissatisfaction, forming powerful hypotheses for your campaigns.
  • Design and launch proactive multi-channel campaigns triggered by at-risk behavior, aiming to re-engage users before they cancel.

2. Lapsed User Reactivation

  • Owning end-to-end win-back strategies, including segmenting users based on past listening behavior and time since churn.
  • Crafting irresistible hooks through creative offers and hyper-personalized content, testing and learning rigorously to build a playbook of cost-effective methods.

3. Analytics & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Measuring and reporting core KPIs, translating performance data into actionable insights for stakeholders.
  • Providing clear data and qualitative feedback to product teams, helping prioritize roadmap features addressing core churn drivers.

What We're Looking For

  • A proven track record in churn management, user reactivation, or save strategies within B2C subscription or mobile app businesses.
  • An innovative problem-solver who thinks creatively, challenges assumptions, and is excited about building industry-leading strategies.
  • Hands-on campaign execution experience using marketing automation platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills, proficient in SQL and product analytics tools.
  • An experimenter's mindset, skilled at designing and interpreting A/B tests.
  • A genuine passion for music, essential for crafting resonant and effective campaigns.
