Procurement Leader

We are seeking an experienced procurement leader to oversee the acquisition of essential raw materials for production processes.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Develop and implement effective procurement strategies to ensure cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
    • Analyze market trends, identify potential risks and opportunities, and negotiate favorable terms with suppliers.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and compliance with regulations.
    • Manage the procurement budget and develop cost-saving initiatives to minimize waste and reduce excess stock.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues, implement corrective actions, and improve overall process efficiency.
Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field is preferred, along with professional certification (e.g., CPM, CPSM).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, focusing on raw materials, with a proven track record of successfully managing supplier relationships and developing strategic procurement plans.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and tools, including SAP knowledge.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and collaboration skills.
Additional Skills
  • Experience in the pesticide industry is a plus.
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements related to raw materials procurement.
