Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Merchandiser to bridge the gap between design, production, and sales teams. This role involves ensuring timely delivery of high-quality activewear products.

This position requires close collaboration with the design team to organize sample development, approvals, fabric, and trim procurement for production orders.

The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent time management abilities.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with the design team to coordinate sample development, approvals, fabric, and trim procurement for production orders.
  • Liaise directly with the in-house production team to monitor sample production, resolve technical or production issues, and ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Conduct regular quality checks at key production stages, highlight defects or deviations, and implement corrective measures in collaboration with production and quality teams.
  • Maintain accurate production tracking documents and provide timely updates to the design, sourcing, and management teams regarding production status and any potential delays.
  • Manage and track the production schedule from development through bulk manufacturing, ensuring timelines are met for seasonal collections and special projects.
  • Ensure all tech packs, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and production specifications are complete, accurate, and communicated to the production floor.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Textile Engineering, Apparel Production, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in apparel production merchandising, preferably in activewear or sportswear segments.
  • Strong understanding of garment construction, materials, and production processes, especially for activewear (technical fabrics, stretch materials, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience working in in-house manufacturing environments.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel in particular) and production tracking systems.
  • Strong communication skills to coordinate across design, production, and sales teams.
  • High attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
