Job Title: Production Merchandising Specialist

The role of a Production Merchandising Specialist is pivotal in overseeing product development, merchandising, sourcing, supplier management, and logistics coordination.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure timely delivery of production by aligning raw materials, job workers, internal, and external production teams.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, mills, traders, and garment manufacturers.
Product Development:
  • Evaluate and present pre-development samples to stakeholders.
  • Monitor and assess product performance in terms of fit, construction, and durability.
  • Negotiate with suppliers and vendors on costing to achieve optimal pricing.
Production Planning:
  • Develop and manage production timelines and schedules.
  • Coordinate with design and development teams to understand product specifications, materials, and production requirements.
Sourcing and Logistics:
  • Source, develop, and manage raw materials, trims, accessories, and job workers.
  • Visit job workers and factories to track production progress on regular basis.
Quality Control:
  • Implement quality control procedures to ensure products meet company standards.
  • Conduct inspections and oversee testing of materials and finished products.
Reporting and Coordination:
  • Collaborate with various teams (Design, Production, Procurement, Category, etc.).
  • Keep detailed logs and updates for fabric, trims, and accessories development and procurement, sampling and production status, TNA update, and more.

Requirements: 4-5 years of experience in PD, buying, merchandising, and production. Excellent knowledge of fabrics, trims, and accessories and the factory supplier base required.
