Job Title: Fashion Product Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled fashion product specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for current trends and customer preferences, as well as strong analytical and negotiation skills.


The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a product assortment strategy that aligns with brand identity and drives sales growth. This role involves trend forecasting, vendor management, pricing strategy, and sales analysis.


To succeed in this role, you will need to stay ahead of the curve by identifying new product opportunities and collaborating with design teams. You will also work closely with marketing and other teams to ensure seamless product launches and availability.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and manage a product mix that reflects current trends and customer preferences across all sales channels.
  • Making informed purchasing decisions, negotiating with suppliers, and maintaining strong vendor relationships.
  • Developing competitive pricing models in line with market trends and business goals.
  • Regularly reviewing sales data, adjusting strategies, and reporting findings to senior leadership.
  • Collaborating with design teams to stay ahead of fashion trends and identify new product opportunities.
  • Working with marketing and other teams to ensure smooth product launches and availability.

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, or related field.

* 3-5 years of experience in apparel buying, preferably in retail.

* Strong analytical, negotiation, and trend forecasting skills.

* Proficiency in Excel and buying/planning software.

* Excellent organizational and communication skills.
