Product Launch Specialist

The Product Launch Specialist plays a pivotal role in ensuring seamless product introductions into the manufacturing process. Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date engineering documentation to facilitate smooth translation into procurement and production requirements.
  • Translating product design and quality requirements into manufacturing inputs with OEM partners, fostering effective collaboration.
  • Developing and maintaining assembly documentation, such as SOPs and APBs, to ensure consistency and efficiency.
  • Coordinating with cross-functional teams to manage Engineering Change Management (ECM) and drive timely closure, minimizing disruptions.
  • Preparing and updating Bill of Materials (BOM) for all products, creating part numbers for components in BOM, and monitoring End-of-Life (EOL) status.
  • Tracking and managing obsolescence of components, particularly electrical items, to mitigate potential risks.
  • Coordinating development projects from prototype to mass production phases within Acsys and with OEM partners, ensuring successful product launches.
  • Verifying and ensuring all NPI specific information/documents are released on JIRA/Confluence, maintaining data integrity.
  • Supporting and participating in ISO audits to ensure compliance with relevant standards, upholding quality excellence.
  • Leading pilot builds, resolving issues, and establishing repeatable processes for production scaling, driving efficiency and quality.
  • Collaborating with product, design, supply chain, vendor, and manufacturing teams for on-time and seamless product launches, fostering strong partnerships.
  • Possessing knowledge of product certification requirements, such as EN, FCC, CE, and PESO, to ensure regulatory compliance.

Requirements

  1. 5+ years of experience in NPI / Manufacturing / Program Management.
  2. Strong knowledge of supply chain, manufacturing processes, and quality standards.
  3. Proven experience working with vendors, contract manufacturers, and cross-functional teams.

Education: B.E. in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Production Engineering.
