Cybersecurity Expert

We are seeking an experienced professional to strengthen our security posture across cloud, applications, and enterprise infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and manage enterprise-wide security architecture and frameworks across multi-cloud environments.
  • Lead secure SDLC adoption, threat modeling, application security reviews, and WAF implementation.
  • Drive DevSecOps practices, including automation of compliance checks, vulnerability management, and secure infrastructure provisioning.
Cybersecurity Team Leadership:
  • Establish and grow the Cybersecurity team from the ground up, setting up processes, frameworks, and best practices.
  • Act as the head of the Cybersecurity vertical, accountable for strategy, execution, and reporting to leadership.
  • Build a strong pipeline of security talent and mentor engineers to achieve maturity in security operations.
Risk Management & Compliance:
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Partner with leadership to balance business needs with security risk tolerance, translating technical risk into actionable business decisions.
  • Continuously improve security policies, procedures, and audit readiness.
Cybersecurity Operations & Incident Response:
  • Work with SOC and Incident Response teams to detect, investigate, and remediate security threats and incidents.
  • Develop and optimize incident response playbooks to improve containment, recovery, and resilience.
  • Implement proactive monitoring and security automation to reduce exposure to malicious events.
Qualifications:
  • Master's in Computer Science (Preferred: Texas A&M or equivalent) and Bachelor's in Computer Science/Engineering.
  • 17+ years of proven cybersecurity experience across cloud, DevSecOps, application security, and compliance.
  • Certifications: ISC2 CCSP, AWS Solutions Architect (Pro), Azure Security Engineer, CEH Master, Google Cloud Architect, ITIL.
  • Hands-on expertise in: AWS/Azure security services, IAM, Terraform, Okta/AD, CI/CD pipelines, Secure network design (VPCs, firewalls, WAFs), Application and product security reviews, Security automation and compliance monitoring tools.
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.

The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in cybersecurity strategy, cloud security, DevSecOps automation, risk governance, and incident response.
