About This Job

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Desktop Support Engineer to join our organization. The selected candidate will play a key role in maintaining the functionality and reliability of our IT environment, enabling employees to work efficiently and effectively.

Job Responsibilities:
  • IT Infrastructure Management: Administer Microsoft Intune for endpoint management, provide support for Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) infrastructure, including user provisioning and issue resolution.
  • Incident Resolution: Manage incident and service request management process to ensure timely resolution of user issues and requests.
  • Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Utilize Nexthink for proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident resolution.
  • User Access Management: Handle grant application/drive/folder access requests and ensure proper permissions are granted according to security policies.
  • User Account Management: Administer user accounts in Active Directory, including adding/removing users from groups and managing calendar access and delegation.
  • Consultant Onboarding/Offboarding: Facilitate consultant onboarding/offboarding processes, including provisioning/deprovisioning access to necessary resources.
  • Collaboration Tool Support: Manage access to collaboration tools like Microsoft Teams, including adding/removing users from channels and distribution lists.
  • Security Support: Monitor and respond to phishing email incidents, providing guidance and support to users as needed.
  • Software Installation and Configuration: Perform remote software installations and configurations to ensure users have access to required applications.
  • Password Reset and Unlock: Reset passwords and unlock user accounts as per established security protocols.
  • Video Conferencing Support: Assist with setting up and troubleshooting Zoom meetings and other video conferencing solutions.
  • Network Connectivity Support: Address Zscaler/network connectivity issues and provide resolution to ensure uninterrupted access to network resources.
  • File Sharing Support: Provide support for external file sharing platforms such as ShareFile and Teams channels.
  • Bitlocker Support: Assist users with unlocking Bitlocker screens and resolving related issues.
  • Network Drive and Printer Configuration: Configure and map network drives and printers for users as needed.
  • Mobile Device Support: Provide support for mobile devices, including unlocking iPhones and troubleshooting connectivity issues.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Technical Expertise: Proficiency in Microsoft Intune, Azure Virtual Desktop, Nexthink, Active Directory, and other relevant IT systems.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot complex IT issues.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with users and stakeholders.
  • Time Management Skills: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
