**Job Opportunity:** Senior Application Support Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Senior Application Support Engineer to join our Global Operations Systems team. As an integral part of our IT infrastructure, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining critical systems and applications.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deploy applications, troubleshoot complex issues, and support both cloud and on-prem infrastructure in a fast-paced production environment. To succeed in this role, you will require strong experience with Middleware Technologies, Operating Systems, Scripting, Cloud Platforms, Containerization, CI/CD, Artifact Management, Monitoring Tools, and database environments.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of third-party COTS applications, SQL, and relational databases. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing day-to-day administration and health of applications and infrastructure
  • Performing installation, configuration, upgrades, and troubleshooting of applications across cloud and on-prem platforms
  • Ensuring secure, high-performance deployments using automation tools and CI/CD pipelines
  • Providing technical mentorship to junior team members

In addition, you will collaborate with project managers, developers, QA, and infrastructure teams to support deployments and changes, handle system backup, restore, and failover for application environments, document configurations, deployment processes, and technical procedures, and participate in 24x7 on-call support rotation.
